Yearly if you are 65 or over. Every two years if under 65.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes. Book online any time or phone during opening hours.
Do I need a referral?
No.
What is the cost of an eye examination?
Examinations are bulk billed for Medicare and Veteran’s Affairs card holders.
What are my payment options?
Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Bartercard, Cash, Cheque
Can I claim my private health insurance through you?
Yes. Instant health fund rebates are available through HICAPS
How long does an eye test take?
We allow 40 minutes so all necessary tests can be done thoroughly.
Do you do eye check-ups for children?
Yes.
When should I have my child’s eyes tested for the first time?
The younger the better. Anytime from one year old.
I'm not having any problems. do I still need an eye test?
Absolutely. Sneaky diseases like glaucoma have no obvious symptoms until significant and permanent damage has been done.
